AJOTO

AJOTO is a great new London-based lifestyle brand focusing on the creation of ‘Beautfiul Tools for Everyday Journeys’. Founded in the Spring of 2011 by designers Chris Holden and Tim Higgens, a period of two years followed in which the partners developed and refined the first of their tools, which were eventually launched to the public at London Collections: Men in January 2014. Attention to detail is key in everything AJOTO creates, and can be observed throughout every stage of the design and during the production, from sourcing specialist materials to pushing manufacturing processes. This approach has lead to the creation of the first set of products which are both aesthetic and built to last a lifetime. AJOTO debuts with a beautiful pen and accompanying leather pen pouch; the Make Your Mark collection, next to a robust leather wallet which will serve you many years as part of the For The Journey collection.

Making a mark represents the first steps when going on a journey, that one good idea which becomes that actual great endeavor. It is in this spirit that the company created their first product, The Pen. From the unique twist mechanism to its subtle teardrop shape, every part of The Pen is designed to inspire. The aluminum pen is produced according the highest standards and within the borders of the UK, using the same processes used for medical and aerospace components. When deconstructed it will reveal each of the four meticulously detailed parts proving its intelligent design. AJOTO sees its pen as a celebration of the potential of imagination, free from digital distraction, which we as lovers of pens and paper truly agree with. And therefore the leather pouch both serving as a protector as a beautiful touch for storage really complements the pen.

The second part of the collection, ideal for journeys, is made for protecting some of your most valuable assets. Each wallet is handmade in the UK from vegetable tanned Tuscan leathers, which is tanned using traditional processes dating back 3000 thousand years. Crafted to transcend all occasions, the Wallet develops a unique and rich patina the more it is used.
