Tricker’s x Tenue de Nîmes

We are only in the second month of the new year and there is already an important new Tenue de Nîmes collaboration to be celebrated in 2015. It all started last October, when the legendary Tricker’s shoe store in London at 67 Jeremy Street was visited for the very first time, to start the process of the creation of a series of Tricker’s x Tenue de Nîmes shoes. Barely four months later, a first collection is ready, consisting of three genuine Tricker’s classic pieces inspired by the rich history of the English shoe brand that was established in 1829. The classic models were given an elegant translation fitting in the Tenue universe, resulting in a collection to be proud of, created for everyone who’s enjoying the good things in life.

The exclusive Tenue de Nîmes x Tricker’s collaborations are hand-made in England, inspired by the history of the English shoe brand that was established in 1829.

The collection starts with a 21st century blue version of the Trickers Burton country shoe. The lining of this heavy brogue Derby is made of blue leather and the shoe is soled with brown Dainite rubber. The Burton is characterized by the bellows tongue, storm welt and leather uppers and linings.

In addition to the Tenue de Nîmes x Tricker’s ‘Blue Bourton’ Country Shoe two unique Tricker’s ‘Stow’ boots were developed too. The Stow is a heavy 7-eyelet ankle boot with a natural or a stained welt and a full leather upper and lining. This particular Tenue de Nîmes collaboration is an ‘all-black’ edition that comes with a heavy black Dainite rubber stitched sole and Tenue de Nîmes blue leather lining and loop.

And finally there’s the third part of our collaboration. The second Stow boot was made in Tricker’s’ characteristic ‘Acorn Antique’ leather. This orange-like cognac boot is made with a blue Itshide Commando sole and also features the recognizable blue lining and loop. The Tricker’s Stow is a heavy brogue a 7-eyelet ankle boot with a natural or a stained welt and full leather upper and lining.
