Number two of a selection of beautiful finds by Anothersomething and Tenue de Nîmes. Enjoy after the click.
![anothershop anothershop](http://www.anothersomething.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/anothershop-400x340.jpg)
AnOther magazine opened their online shop with some very nice collaborative products, like a beautiful bag by Peter Pilotto for Mismo and some art editions from Tom Friedman a.o.
![01_magazine 01_magazine](http://www.anothersomething.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/01_magazine-400x294.jpg)
01 Magazine is crammed with lovely photographic work and interesting interviews. ‘This issue is not about the act of skateboarding, but a homage to the people that it has touched.’
![artek_standard artek_standard](http://www.anothersomething.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/artek_standard-400x312.jpg)
In two days, Artek and Comme des Garçon will introduce their collaborative project, the Standard Frangrance. We very much like the sober and beautiful packaging and are curious to this scent which is described as a blend of Finnish Labrador Tea, Twinflower Linnea Borealis, metal and rust in the base notes and fennel, ginger, lemon, musk, saffron and cedarwood in the top notes.
![pendleton](https://anothersomething.org/media/uploads/2009/10/pendleton.jpg)
Pendleton Meets Opening Ceremony. This colorful blanket with native american patterns is probably a must have for this autumn…
![thinkpad thinkpad](http://www.anothersomething.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/thinkpad-400x266.jpg)
ACL shared this fantastic piece of History. This is the notepad (the pencil and paper kind) that in the late 80s / early 90s inspired an IBM researcher to name the company’s new mobile computer the ThinkPad.
![grab_store grab_store](http://www.anothersomething.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/grab_store-400x531.jpg)
The Grab Store American vintage styled school back pack is definitely a classic!
![sort_of_coal sort_of_coal](http://www.anothersomething.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/sort_of_coal-400x400.jpg)
Sort of Coal is started with the desire to birth a new understanding of the power and beauty of Asian Charcoal. They want to reinvent the Western perception of purity, where it does not attack our senses as with perfume and chemicals, but rather, awakens them. This one absorbs gases, pollution and odors from the air and is used to freshen air and create a better indoor environment.
![rona_chang rona_chang](http://www.anothersomething.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/rona_chang-399x303.jpg)
Rona Chang is a Taiwan born Photographer with an amazing portfolio. She documents the cumulative effect of people on their environment on a clean and aesthetic way.
![patina patina](http://www.anothersomething.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/patina-400x300.jpg)
Reminiscent of a mature mountainside with different layers of rock and stone, each paperweight is unique, featuring hues of brown, grey, green and white. Love this beautiful hexagonal paper weight by Patina.
![mooregiles](https://anothersomething.org/media/uploads/2009/10/mooregiles.png)
Leather has always been a symbol of style and sophistication and Moore & Giles are definitely one of these brands who embellish this in every single product they make. This Money Clip is a very simple but beautiful example of it: An elegant reproduction of alligator, hand stained and rubbed to provide a rich two-tone effect with polish.
![libby_black libby_black](http://www.anothersomething.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/libby_black-400x256.jpg)

If you’re in LA find some time to visit the exhibition this before the 17th of october…

![bonsai_wabisabi bonsai_wabisabi](http://www.anothersomething.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/bonsai_wabisabi-400x287.jpg)
Basically we love everything which got enough attention and is created with love and patience. The Japanese Bonsai culture is one of these things. Mario Komsta, a bonsai artist based in Alicante, Spain, is a special one. “WABI” is the kind of beauty that is caused by the right kind of imperfection. “SABI” is the kind of beauty that can come only with age. Enjoy this little old beauties.
