Reflecting the hotel’s devoted support of Israeli artists; The Norman’s décor incorporates original Israeli art works throughout all rooms and public areas. Now the hotel is offering guest’s exclusive access to visit the galleries and studios of the artists showcased throughout the hotel and meet with the artists themselves. Each tour is tailor-made depending on the particular interest’s guest.
The Norman reflects the luxury and style of the grand hotels of the early 20th century, featuring 2 world-class restaurants, displays of original Israeli artworks, an elegant Library Bar, and a range of luxury facilities and services, with The Norman’s signature excellence.
The art tours are given by Tamar Dresdner, The Norman’s in-house art curator, who is also responsible for the hotel’s art collection. Tamar has worked at ICA Boston, has served as the curator of Canit corporate collection in Tel Aviv and was the founder & managing partner of Tavi Dresdner gallery in Tel Aviv. The art works on display at The Norman are made by leading contemporary Israeli artists who also exhibit in galleries & museums world-wide. Featured artists include Ilit Azoulay, Sigalit Landau, Dror Daum, Tal Frank, Carmel Ilan, Dana Levy, Elad Kopler, Miriam Cabessa, Alon Kedem, Elon Ganor, Klone and Tsibi Geva. The Norman’s art works are of diverse media such as painting, sculpture, print, photography and textile.
