The Dutch Breton

What do Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Brigitte Bardot, Coco Chanel, Audrey Hepburn, The Ramones and French Fishermen have in common? They all loved the Breton stripes. And so does Tenue de Nîmes. Tenue de Nîmes and French knitwear brand Armor Lux have teamed to create the ‘Dutch Breton’ interlock shirt referring to the red, white and blue from the Dutch and French flag. This limited edition sailor stripe was knitted and manufactured in Quimper, French Brittany. Armor Lux and Tenue de Nîmes made only 50 pieces with a blue Tenue de Nîmes ‘cross’ embroidery on the bottom left and a collaborative logo in the neck. The shirt is made from 100% combed soft and quality cotton yarn. The fabric was made using circular knitting and was washed and dried before cutting in order to reduce shrinkage. Go get it here >
