Somewhere with Andres Gonzalez

We love photobooks and we never can have enough of them in our studio and at home. Last may we’ve shared this project by photographer Andres Gonzalez called ‘Somewhere’ and we’re happy to see Gonzalez started a Kickstarter project to fund his upcoming book featuring this project. A photography book that takes us on a journey in the most concrete and abstract sense of the word. The photographs were taken in different locations around the world as varied as Norway, Ukraine, Namibia, and Mexico. The book is both a mediation on the magical qualities of each place, and an experiment in visual narrative. The book is designed by our friend and award winning Dutch designer Sybren Kuiper (-SYB-). Can’t wait to see it!
