Palácio Ramalhete

We truly love the city of Lisbon and during our previous stays, without a doubt, we have found our trusted home away from home, but recently another beautiful option was brought to our attention. Located in one of Lisbon’s most charming neighborhoods; Janelas Verdes, the hotel named Palácio Ramalhete is an amazing example of 18th century Portuguese architecture, where all original features have been preserved to maintain its timeless romantic charm. Because of the caring and thorough renovation, the eye pleasing hotel offers tradition combined with the comfort and modern luxuries to make ones stay as pleasant as possible.

Its housing at Janelas Verdes Street, which is opposite the Museum of Antique Art is only walking distance from a large variety of restaurants and bars. Access to public transportation is right around the corner, but if you prefer, like ourselves, to discover Lisbon by foot, Palácio Ramalhete is the perfect location to begin and discover the city which in our eyes will always surprise, no matter how often you have visited.

The 12 rooms and suites, each with their unique features and motifs, are beautiful starting points of one’s journey of discovery unto the exciting and colorful streets of Lisbon. Everything one can ask for is provided, as combined with the beauty of the surroundings which were created within the perimeters of the hotel, it has a friendly staff which will assist you with whatever needed. The hotel boasts a wonderful pool, which has a specious sun deck next to it. One can have a drink in the bar, relax in the large common areas or just enjoy the serenity of one of the 12 elegant rooms.
