Lisbon

Lisbon was amazing! We arrived on a friday night and first thing we mentioned was the calm and quiet ambience of this city. The green balconies packed with beautiful plants didn’t suffered from the 4 months without rain. The only sound that seeped through the open windows of our apartment were the bright tones of birds in the wild garden of the old monastery behind the house in the Graça neighborhood.
The apartment is the beautiful place of design journalist Maria Ulecia called Mi Casa en Lisboa. One house, four different rooms, with spectacular views and a personal, friendly service all to make you feel like you are at home. And it really felt as our little home in Lisbon for a few days! Shelves full of books, fresh cut flowers and collections of vintage typographic objects around the garden.
We crossed the city on foot, visiting the lovely restaurants, shops, and places like LX Factory, The Decadente, A Vida Portuguesa, and more, much more. Best thing we did was enjoying the sunset on the Tagus while on the lovely sailing yacht of Ricardo, seeing Lisbon from the riverside while a small breeze pushed us slowly forward underneath the bridge.
We fell in love with Lisbon, and with Mi Casa en Lisboa! Thank you Maria for our temporary home, and thank you Álvaro for being our digital guide.
