Last month h(y)r collective changed it’s name and focus to INVENTORY, a curation of Ideas in Product, Craft & Culture. The online magazine became an off-line magazine which will be published in the coming days. Anothersomething got a sneak preview on the first proofs from the press.
Ryan explains: Volume 01 Number Fall—Winter 2009 features some of our favorite brands and people in menswear. With a focus on the stories behind the brands and products, we take stock whats important to us. Nigel Cabourn, Engineered Garments, Mister Freedom and Yuketen are featured in large beautiful spreads with in-depth interviews. Beautiful photography by Ken Tisuthiwongse, James Pearson-Howes and Ye Rin Mok graces the pages of our features. Editorial focus includes the Nom de Guerre FW09 collection, a look at the best parkas in the market and a London shoot titled “Disparity”.
We also featured our first 4 collaborations resulting in Inventory Items 001 – 005: Collaborations include Gitman Bros., Inverallan, Mark McNairy and Alexander Olch.
The magazine is printed in Canada, 5,000 copies, 2 covers – available in our online shop, Inventory Stockroom as well as select menswear and magazine shops around the world.

We can’t wait to see the result of this beautiful work by Ryan Willms, Owen Parrott and Simon Roe, under the art direction of Chris Allen.
