AEANCE

The all new sportswear brand AEANCE aims to bridge the gap between working out and going out. Designed in collaboration with German fashion designer Hien Le – known for an elegant clean cut colorful aesthetic – for this first collection, the brand makes its debut with a 19-piece running collection for men and women with a timeless appeal. Despite the dominant rhythm of fashion having to present twice a year, AEANCE decided to produce on a non-seasonal basis. The upcoming collections will feature further fashion names to work with the brand and its clean cuts and rigorous attention to technical and athletic detail. Keep an eye on this elegant newcomer in sports apparel.

A riff and combination of the three key terms that encapsulate the label – aesthetics, athletics, performance.

For the first collection they employed the talents of Hien Le, a well-respected young German fashion designer, who perfectly understood the clean minimalism and discreet codes of the brand.Known for his everyday separates with an accurate simplicity, he was the perfect fit for AEANCE. Le was nominated for the Woolmark Prize in 2012 and was a finalist for Vogue Talents in 2014. Every item adheres to the sleek and timeless style that underpins the label’s look, one that was developed with rigorous attention to technical detail in collaboration with experts in functional apparel.

Using Merino wool and the highest-grade synthetic textile blends from Switzerland, Italy and New Zealand, AEANCE works with foremost textile such as Schoeller Textiles Switzerland, as well as a leading and highly innovative factory that has longstanding expertise in both high-fashion and premium sports apparel. Using manufacturing technology and machinery leverages cutting-edge techniques such as bonded seams and laser-cut details throughout. Made in Portugal, the brand is committed to producing within Europe and has an inherent attention to social responsibility and eco-sustainability: focusing on working with partners and materials that comply with strict standards and certifications.
