The Garden Edit

The Garden Edit is a beautifully curated collection of products for, and inspired by, the garden. Founded by English gardener John Tebbs, the platform redraws the traditional boundaries associated with shopping and the garden by bringing together a modern collection of products that embody functionality, timelessness and beauty. A gardener for over 15 years, John creates and maintains private and commercial gardens across London. Working under the title Finch Gardening, he has a client base who love the personal touch and appreciate the garden as an evolving space.

“As a gardener you tend to experience quite a lot of down time during the winter months. Last winter was particularly harsh and I found myself doing a lot of research on the internet,” says Tebbs.

I knew plenty of beautiful well designed places to find homewares, furniture and great curations of clothes. However I could find nothing in a similar aesthetic that focussed purely on the garden and felt there was a real space for something that offered a collection of beautiful and practical objects inspired by the garden. So in January I decided to embark on The Garden Edit.

It took Tebbs 9 months, curating his perfect collection, which became a mixture of things some of practical use for the garden, others  drawing their inspiration from the garden. We absolutely love his curation, the overall aesthetic and feel inspired by the way Tebbs created an extraordinary platform around gardening.
