As one of the curators behind the Dutch Curated, I’m always inspired to see similar services across the globe. But this is a special one. Svbscription is a new luxury subscription service based in New York that curates parcels of unique products for men. Customers from all over the world signed up to receive the first travel parcel (in July 2012) and memberships were sold out within six weeks. Svbscription produced their first parcel in collaboration with partners Steven Alan (New York), Want Les Essentials De La Vie (Montreal), Mr and Mrs Smith (London), Special Delivery (New York), Tableux Argentes Publishing (Berlin) and Malin + Goetz (New York) to create a diverse product offering. Svbscription and it’s partners have a clear aim to: “…connect you to products, content and experiences that are high-end, covetable and at the forefront of design, culture and entertainment.” Only 100 memberships were available worldwide for the first parcel which means the initiative is still highly exclusive. The second Svbscription parcel, which is still open for subscription, is designed for study, work, creation and learning and will include direct brand collaborations.
